James E. Butler - is a playwright, screenwriter, and director.
His first full-length play, Do We Know Each Other?, was performed as a staged reading with Street Theatre Company in 2014.
His short-form musical, The Intoxicated Travels of the Reverend Piano Man, was produced by Actors Bridge Ensemble for the Nashville Sideshow Fringe Festival in 2016.
His horror-comedy The Nightmarium Incident premiered as a full-length stage production with ACT 1 in 2019.
His one-acts Cognition and The Revitalization of Kristen Gale were also produced by ACT 1 in Nashville, and Social Anxiety was featured in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival in 2021.
